I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

As believers, we give in response to the grace that God has first given to us. Consider a few things. First, Christ gave all of himself in order to save us. Second, we acknowledge God as the ultimate Giver of all things. Nothing we have has come to us apart from God’s provision (1 Corinthians 4:7). Giving back to God is a response to all He has given us. He has given us forgiveness of sins, the gift of Heaven, blessings and promises no one can count. Above all He has given us Himself, a relationship with Almighty God. We give to Him in worship out of gratitude and thankfulness for who He is and what He has done for us. Since we view it as an act of worship we regularly provide this time during our Sunday service.
